Zenless Zone Zero: 3.3 pre-download, mobile size and maintenance schedule (19 October 2026)

Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 pre-download is open from 19 October 2026 at 11:00 WIB (UTC+7) until 21 October 2026 at 04:50 WIB (UTC+7). Players can fetch the update data before maintenance begins.

The Android and iOS pre-download is approximately 5 GB. This is an update download rather than the entire installation; installed voice packs also affect the required space. Check free storage and the connection before starting.

On mobile, open the game and use Pre-Download Resources in the bottom-right corner. Playing is unavailable during the mobile pre-download, so finish the current play session first.

Other platforms have different pre-download sizes: PC approximately 6 GB; PS5 / PS5 Pro approximately 14 GB; Xbox Series X|S approximately 21 GB. Use the figure for the device being updated. These are pre-download packages for their respective platforms, rather than the space needed for a complete new installation.

Prepare free storage before starting and use Wi-Fi for the large download. Check the installed voice packs too, since storage needs can differ between players. Doing this beforehand helps with choosing the appropriate device and time to download.

On PC, start HoYoPlay and select Pre-Download beside Start Game. PC players may keep playing while the files download. Players switching between devices should note the difference: the mobile pre-download interrupts play on Android and iOS.

On PS5 / PS5 Pro, launch Zenless Zone Zero with sufficient reserved storage. Pre-download begins automatically after a while; the notice does not specify an exact waiting time. Players on this platform can continue playing during the download.

Xbox Series X|S also offers a manual route from the system home screen: open My games & apps, choose Manage, then check Updates. This is an alternative to waiting for the automatic pre-download after launching the game.

Maintenance is scheduled for 21 October 2026 at 05:00 WIB (UTC+7) with an estimated duration of 5 hours. This is the publisher's estimate, not a guaranteed server reopening time.

Players cannot log in during version maintenance. Being able to play while pre-downloading on PC or console does not provide access during the server downtime. Plan the play session around these two separate stages: advance downloading and maintenance.

The announced maintenance compensation is 300 Polychrome for players who reach Inter-Knot Level 4 before 21 October 2026 at 05:00 WIB (UTC+7). Both the level requirement and cutoff apply; downloading the update data alone does not establish eligibility for the reward.

Eligible players receive the compensation through in-game mail after the update finishes and must claim it before version 3.3 ends. This deadline refers to the version's end, not the end of pre-download. The notice does not give a calendar date for that claim deadline.

Once update maintenance begins, Android users can open the game and follow its update pop-up. On iOS, update through the App Store. Pre-download prepares part of the data in advance; players still need to follow the update process for their platform afterward.

Once maintenance starts, update other platforms through their respective menus. PC players should exit the game, restart it and choose the update. On PS5, highlight Zenless Zone Zero on the home screen, hold the controller's Options button and choose Check for updates. On Xbox Series X|S, open My games & apps from the dashboard, select Manage, then choose Zenless Zone Zero under Updates and confirm.
